全国で2番目に多い姓の「鈴木サミット」が、全国の鈴木さん等関係者ら100人余りで、発祥の地とされる海南市で開かれた。
鈴木サミットは、しばらく途絶えていましたが、藤白神社の敷地内に去年「鈴木屋敷」が復元されたのをきっかけに、11年ぶりに開催された。
サミットでは、栃木県佐野市の全国最多の姓の佐藤の会メンバーと「さのまる」や海南市の「海ニャン」も参加した。
