アメリカのニューヨーク・タイムズが7日に発表した「2025年に行くべき52か所」で、日本の都市は30番目に富山市、38番目に大阪市が選ばれた。
富山市は地震からの復興に向け観光客を誘致して、「混雑を避けながら文化的な感動とグルメを楽しめる」と紹介される。
また大阪市については、今年の関西万博を取り上げているほか、去年、一部が開業したJR大阪駅北側にある「グラングリーン大阪」を「革新的なプロジェクト」と紹介されている。
