千鳥ヶ淵の遊歩道は、春には700メートル続く桜のトンネルとなり、お濠の周辺で一番の絶景スポットです。またこの時期には桜の木もライトアップされ多くの人で賑わいます。
春から秋にかけてお濠でボートに乗ることが出来ます。桜や紅葉のシーズンは特に人気です。
緑道を挟んで、千鳥ケ淵戦没者墓苑があります。ここには第二次世界大戦の折に海外で死亡した身元不明の日本人の35万8千もの遺骨が安置され、毎年慰霊祭も行われます。
千鳥ヶ淵の周辺に、明治維新以来の戦没者を祀った靖国神社もあります。こちらも桜の名所で有名です。ホームページも英語で読めます。
また昭和館という第二次大戦中戦後の労苦を残した博物館もあり、英語の音声ガイドもあります。
また週末には無料のイベントも多くある日本武道館もあります。
