スノーバレーは国際バレーボール連盟が冬季オリンピックの正式種目入りを目指し、２０１９年にスタートさせた競技で、蔵王町で本格的な試合が開かれた。
試合に出場したのはプロのビーチバレー選手、ユーチューバーや高校生で、白銀の雪上で繰り広げられる熱戦に会場は盛り上がりを見せた。
