絶滅したマンモスのDNA情報を使い培養した巨大なミートボールが28日、アムステルダムの科学館で公開された。
創業者は、気候変動で絶滅したのでマンモスを選んだと説明し、大規模農業や食習慣を変えなければと指摘した。
マンモスの培養肉は、科学者によってマンモスやアフリカ象の遺伝子配列を基に、羊の細胞を用いて数週間かけて作られた。
