今回は古代遺跡のニュースです。日本語訳載せときます。
紀元前1万年に建築されたとされる人類最古の遺跡ギョベクリテペと、その近くのカラハンテペ遺跡で、顔料を使った痕跡のある動物と巨大な人の彫像が発見された。
この古代都市に彩色された石像があれば、農耕文明が始まる以前の高度な芸術文化という大変な新発見となる。
この他にも、エジプトのピラミッドができるより数千年も前に数十トンもある巨石で神殿を建設したことなど、ギョベクリテペはとにかく謎が多い。
