Eニュース2024年9月30日久々に隠岐古典相撲
今回は伝統行事のニュースです。日本語訳載せときます。
隠岐の島町では、祝いごとがあるときに、夜を徹して、相撲の取組を行う行事が江戸時代から開かれていて、「古典相撲」として親しまれている。
町合併２０年を記念して、今回12年ぶりに９月１４日の夕方から翌日昼にかけて、およそ３００の取組が行われた。
この「古典相撲」は、取組が２回行われ最初に勝った人は、禍根を残さないよう、２回目の取組では相手に勝ちを譲ることになっているということだ。
