明治安田の未来世代応援アクションwithカズの一環で、三浦選手の「背番号11」にかけた1万1000個のサッカーボールを全国の子どもたちに贈っている。
ボールをもらった児童は「うれしいです。みんなで使っていきたい。自分にも将来夢があるので、カズさんみたいにあきらめずに、頑張って前に進んでいきたい」と喜んだ。
三浦選手は「日本代表で活躍している選手がこの鈴鹿から誕生しているので、きょうのボールを使って練習した子が（日本代表に）出てくることを期待している」と語った。
