今回は偉大な詩人のニュースです。日本語訳載せときます。
「鉄腕アトム」の主題歌など、大人から子供まで多くの人に親しまれた詩人、谷川俊太郎（たにかわ・しゅんたろう）さんが老衰のため92歳で亡くなった。
谷川さんは最近毎月一回、朝日新聞で書きおろしの詩を連載し、最終回は、亡くなった後の11月17日に掲載された「感謝」というタイトルの詩だった。
詩は「目が覚める 庭の紅葉が見える 昨日を思い出す まだ生きてるんだ」 という書き出しで始まり、最後は、 「感謝の念だけは残る」 という言葉で結ばれていた。
(矢野顕子さんの歌う「夏が終わる」等良い作品を多く残した谷川俊太郎さんに私も感謝し御冥福を祈ります。)
