能楽の大成者・世阿弥ゆかりの地、新潟県佐渡市で流派を超えた能楽師が一堂に会する催しが開かれた。
主宰者の大倉正之助さんは「もともと、佐渡においては能が身近なものであったので、誰もが楽しんでいたという歴史がある。それを吸収していただきたい」と語った。
全国から各流派の能楽師128人が集まり、“農と能”をテーマに催しや公演が佐渡市の各地で行われた。
