Eニュース2024年8月29日辺野古大綱引き再開

五穀豊穣を願って名護市辺野古の大綱引きが、６年ぶりに行われ、住民が綱を引き合うなどして会場を盛り上げた。
はじめに、地元の若者たちが、エイサーや伝統の棒術のほか、士気を高めるためにたいまつを持って会場を渦のように駆け回る「テービーガーエー」を披露した。
このあと、住民たちがおよそ２か月かけて作った長さおよそ３０メートル、直径およそ８０センチの２本の綱が結ばれ、綱引きが始まった。
