今回は沖縄の鳥のニュースです。日本語訳載せときます。
語呂合わせで、「クイナの日」の9月17日沖縄県国頭村ではヤンバルクイナについて学ぶイベントが開かれた。
学習施設で、ヤンバルクイナの健康診断が公開され、体重を計りたい飼育員と警戒心の強い鳥の駆け引きが繰り広げられた。
このほか施設では、ヤンバルクイナの生態や保護活動についてもクイズを交えて紹介し、訪れた人たちが学びを深めていた。
