Eニュース2024年9月8日大したもん蛇まつり
今回は祭のニュースです。日本語訳載せときます。
「大したもん蛇まつり」は関川村の伝説をもとに行われ、竹とわらで作ったヘビは昭和４２年８月２８日の「羽越水害」にちなみ、長さが８２.８メートルある。
重さおよそ２トンあるヘビを地元の人などおよそ５００人が交代しながら担ぎ、およそ５キロの道のりを３時間ほどかけて練り歩いた。
また沿道には多くの人たちが集まり、最終地点となった関川村役場の会場で大蛇が何重にもとぐろを巻くと、集まった人々から大きな歓声が上がっていた。
