今回はユネスコ無形遺産の一つのニュースです。日本語訳載せときます。
宮古島市、上野野原の厄払いの伝統行事「サティパロウ」が８日行われ、こどもが扮するパーントゥや、地域の女性たちが集落の厄を払った。
厄が集まると言われる集落内の十字路では円をつくってまわり、クロツグやつる草をまとった女性たちが「るるるる」と独特の声をあげながらパーントゥを囲んで厄を払っていた。
そして午後６時ごろ、女性たちは集落のはずれにある「ムスルンミ」で身に着けていたつる草などを置いで無事、サティパロウを終えた。
