長年モノづくりのライバル同士と言われる新潟県燕市と三条市が今年も因縁の関係に「綱引き」で決着をつけた。
25日、二つの市にまたがるJR燕三条駅の市の境界線上で行われる因縁の戦いには、両市の市民60人以上が参戦した。
5本勝負の戦いは互いに一歩も譲らず最終の5本目を迎え、最後は燕市が2年連続で勝利した。
