福井市
福井市は、福井県の県庁所在地及び最大の都市です。
福井は恐竜の県としても有名で、JRに隣接するえちぜん鉄道を使えば勝山市の世界三大恐竜博物館の一つに行くことが出来ます。
福井城跡地は桜が綺麗です。福井の名前の由来になった井戸の跡や、明治維新に活躍した横井小楠や三岡八郎の銅像もあります。足羽川の川沿いも桜が綺麗です。秋には宮ノ下コスモス広苑に行けば一億ものコスモスを見られます。
福井の庭園の中でも養浩館庭園は特に美しいです。また大安禅寺は禅宗の多くの文化財を見ることが出来、ルポの森では森林浴をしながらグランピングや露天風呂を楽しめます。
福井市周辺では断崖絶壁の東尋坊、曹洞禅の総本山永平寺、昔からの天守閣の残る丸岡城、様々な泉質を持つあわら温泉が人気です。
越前ガニや大根おろしそば、ソースカツ丼が名物で、福井ブルーという石製品や柴田勝家せんべいも有名です。福井に訪れるのを楽しんで下さい。
