東松島市で行われた砂の彫刻の全国大会サンドアートジャパンカップで１０日は４つの項目で審査が行われた。
そして、サンドアーティストで、東松島市の地域おこし協力隊・保坂俊彦さんが２大会連続で優勝した。
保坂さんが制作した砂像のタイトルは「時の砂」で、砂が時間を経て新しい命を作り出す様子をイメージしたということだ。
