新潟県の佐渡ヶ島でかがり火が灯される中、佐渡名物の『たらい舟』に乗って夜景を楽しむ“ナイトクルージング”が３１日に行われた。
東京から訪れた約２５人が闇夜に月と炎の明かりだけが浮かび上がり、まるで昔の宿根木のような幻想的な景色を楽しんだ。
かつて佐渡金山から金や銀を運び出していた小木港が美しくライトアップされ、世界文化遺産登録への気運を高めていた。
