熊本市の河内漁協のブランドのり、「塩屋一番」が、世界で最も高額な板のりとしてギネス世界記録に認定された。

「塩屋一番」は初摘みのものに限られ、うま味、柔らかさ、香りなど独自の基準を満たす海苔だけが選ばれている。

2025年2月の入札会で史上最高値の一束100枚12万円で落札され、「オークションで落札された最も高額な板海苔」に認定された。
